Analogical Thinking

Group 1
Roshni , Shahnabil , Jaden , Thoi

Our 4 research for fantasy analogy.

My post and research will be about ... MOTOBOTS!

Motobots by Yamaha created to compete with the motogp world champion , Valentino Rossi.

Personal Analogy - Wanted to create a robot that can drive.

Direct Analogy - Inspired by the world motogp champion, Valentino Rossi , and to surpass him.

Symbolic Analogy - Taking elements from a human , creating a machine.

Fantasy Analogy - A Robot that can drive and also Race.

In my opinion , this could be world changing as if this is tuned to be able to drive safely on the road , it could take over all the dispatch riders. There will be no more dispatch riders . It will all be Motobots. McMotobots for macdonalds or something like that? Fast and efficient.

Next will be Roshni idea and research , the tea strainer !
  designed by Alan Chan

Personal Analogy - Inspired by a bird in a cage

Direct Analogy - Giving a feel of a Chinese tradition of drinking tea

Symbolic Analogy - Elements of drinking tea while enjoying nature

Fantasy Analogy - Bird like thing working as a strainer

Next is Jadens idea and research , Google self driving car!

Personal Analogy - Personal quest to save lives and reduce traffic accidents.

Direct Analogy - Daily occurances  driving a car takes up alot of time therefore wanted to use that time to do something more productive.

Symbolic Analogy - Taking elements from a human to make a machine.

Fantasy Analogy - What if you can drive a car without a driver.

Finally would be , Thoi's ideas and research , the 3d Doodler

Personal Analogy - Instead of using pencil to draw , why not try drawing on the air?

Direct Analogy - Instead of using the 3D printer , why not create a small portable one that is similar to a pencil.

Symbolic Analogy - It is so mainstream to just use a 3D software to create 3D structure so let's just use a pen that can construct and print the structure at the same time.

Fantasy Analogy - We use that pen to create household items instead of making them.
